Growing up in Colts Neck and summering in Spring Lake, Carrie (Larkin) Marxen left Monmouth County to attend Boston College. After graduating, Carrie moved to Hoboken and finally New York City as she embarked on her career. Ultimately, Carrie rose to become a Sales Trader for the boutique firm Hambrecht and Quist. She and her husband returned to the area they always loved in 1999 and raised their two sons in Fair Haven. Carrie currently resides in Rumson.
Carrie has spent years working with the public. Her prior Wall Street experience in negotiating with buyers and sellers offers her the ability to work with her clients, be empathetic to their needs, and responsive to their goals. Her vast knowledge and connections to the Monmouth County area, combined with the local and global reach of Resources Real Estate, puts Carrie in an unique position to support her clients, while helping them navigate through this fast paced market.
An active member of her community, Carrie worked, founded and served leadership roles in several volunteer organizations including: serving as the Fair Haven PTA President, Co-founder Friends Of Different Learners and Parents for Parks. She took her passion for exercise and healthy living and turned it into a career working as a fitness instructor, trainer and manager in Hoboken, New York City and the local area for 30 years.
Her past endeavors have easily translated into Real Estate where putting her clients needs first is what sets her apart. Aligning herself with Resources Real Estate allows her to have the team behind her to support her clients goals, whether they are selling, buying or investing.
“Home is Where Your Story Begins”, and Carrie is looking forward to writing that story with you!
