A great many people have lived in the same town their entire lives. I am the lucky one who got to live on two different continents, traveled to many different countries all over the world, and have lived on both the West and East Coasts of the United States. I know that I have not had the same experiences of one who has lived in one place their entire lives, but the range of experiences that has been part of my life has enabled me to welcome new adventures as well as overcome many challenges and achieve many goals. I am so grateful to have moved so many times-- it made me into the person I am today.

Perhaps having earned an advanced degree in my home country in English and subsequently mastering 4 other languages, I was prepared to explore new terrain.
