While it may be a bit of an overstatement, Judy Horan feels it just might have been her “destiny” to sell real estate in Monmouth County. Other than four years of college in Pennsylvania and a few post-college years in New York City, Judy has been a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. In fact, while living in NYC she met her future husband, John who was, you guessed it…from Monmouth County!
In 1992 Judy and John moved to the Two River area, and have resided in the River Oaks section of Fair Haven for the past 18 years. Like many area residents, Judy, continued to commute to her job in NYC as a Sales and Marketing Director at Time Inc. However, after the birth of their second son, Judy chose to skip the commute instead applying her marketing and development skills as a community volunteer.
She has volunteered at local chapters of national organizations such as the Junior League and Visiting Nurse Association and had the privilege of serving on the Board of two Monmouth County charities, Campership and SPUR. As Judy’s children grew, so did her community work expanding to the PTA Board at both the grammar and high school along with lending a hand on whatever extra-curricular activity (scouts, sports, etc.) her three busy boys were doing at the moment.
Judy’s vast knowledge of Monmouth County, the Two River area in particular, has made her the “go to girl” for family, friends and even acquaintances. Whether it be a referral to a doctor, a decorator or a deli: “Just ask Judy…” would be heard. Her experience, willingness to listen and creative ability to find the solution for someone’s needs made Judy’s move into real estate a natural one.
Judy chose to join Resources Real Estate because they offer the truly unique combination of a local presence complemented by international caliber marketing expertise.
