Company Culture is Important

Culture Club

At Resources Real Estate, company culture is important, centered around creativity, cooperation, and caring and believing in taking clients’ needs seriously while maintaining a lighthearted approach to work.

In other words, they work hard, but also know how to have fun in the process. Company culture is important and part of that.

Resources Real Estate identifies as a luxury real estate broker but what most people don’t understand is that, for us, “Luxury is not about price, it’s about the experience.” And the experience includes what it feels like for the client, for the agent and for our employees. Our promise is to uphold an exceptional level of professionalism and service that surpasses all other firms in the marketplace. Our mission is to empower you with the knowledge, technology and passion to succeed, leading you to a place of luxury where you can make refined decisions with certainty.

PARTNERSHIP

We actively foster a culture of partnership because we view our agents as our business partners.

group of people on a pier stretching into the riverOur agents, staff and management work collaboratively to ensure that our clients have a competitive edge. We understand the importance of teamwork and cooperation in delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations. And our efforts all aim to deliver mutual success so that all may benefit.

“No matter what your role, we believe that all members of our team must care,” said Thomas McCormack, Broker and Senior Partner at Resources Real Estate. “For our clients, for our company, and for each other. Mutual respect and support are vital to who we are as a company,”

COMMUNITY

Being active and participating in the community is a vital part of who we are at Resources Real Estate.

Our group’s commitment to the community is a cornerstone of our culture. We believe in giving back and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, actively participating in charitable efforts.

Organizations such as the Blessing Bag Brigade, The Atlantic Highlands Food Pantry, and Lunch Break make a positive impact on the lives of others. We support them.

SERVICE

Ultimately, we view our role as one of service. Yes, of course, we are in the sales industry. More importantly, we are in the business of helping others to achieve success.

This may take many forms. Fulfilling the dream of homeownership for a first home buyer. Helping a family divest itself after a death or divorce.  Facilitating a business goal for an investor.

Or providing a sustainable business model for our hardworking agents.

Our ultimate goal is to help us all to reach a place where both needs and dreams are Realized.

RECOGNITION

We understand that it is important to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of our team.

We recognize these achievements on a monthly basis, not only for sales and productivity but also for exemplifying our core values. While recognition is not our primary motivation, we are honored to have received several prestigious awards. Resources Real Estate is a multi-year recipient of the Top Workplace award from NJ.com, highlighting our dedication to creating a positive work environment.

We are also the sole recipient of the Company Spirit award from Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, recognizing our vibrant and enthusiastic company culture. Furthermore, Resources Real Estate has been honored with an award for Extraordinary Philanthropy by Who’s Who for their philanthropic work with the Carolynn Ozar Diakon Foundation and Lunch Break Life Skills Center. These accolades showcase the company’s dedication to making a positive impact in both the real estate industry and the Community.

FUN

Of course, we work so that we can make an income to support ourselves, our families, and our dreams but we believe that we should have fun, too.

Here are a few of the fun things we’ve done to remind ourselves that all work and no play makes, well, a very long work day. We like to spend time together to celebrate successes, loyalty, and sometimes just being together. Past celebrations have included sales reward trips to Cancun and Palm Beach, loyalty reward events at Monmouth Park Racetrack, listing competition pizza parties, holiday celebrations and more. “We take our clients’ needs seriously… but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We work hard but we like to have fun while we’re doing it.”

Company culture is important and at Resources Real Estate “culture” is more than just a buzzword. It is a commitment to creativity, cooperation, and caring which sets them apart in the real estate industry. With a focus on partnership, personal growth and a dedication to giving back, Resources Real Estate has created an environment that fosters success, happiness, and fulfillment for both their employees, sales team and

AND THE AWARD GOES TO…

Believing that acknowledging activities that support our core values is not only an opportunity for agent recognition but also provides teaching moments for the entire team,

some of our monthly non-sales awards include: Rainmaker acknowledging an agent who develops new business thru out-of-the- box thinking. Innovation is a key component to indie success. (Corporate thinking is not encouraged.) Team Spirit understanding that – for an independent contractor – time truly is money, this is awarded to the agent who selflessly helps another agent in their time of need. We support each other to ensure each transaction is a success. Perseverance given to the agent who closed a transaction despite all of the obstacles – the principals, the inspection, the appraisal – while representing our clients to the best of their ability. Perseverance gets the job done where other agents might let the deal fall apart.
